Scott Briggs,
Of Counsel
Scott Briggs is a member of California State Bar and admitted to practice to the Central, Eastern, Northern, and Southern District courts, December 1 of 2011. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the University of California, Irvine and his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School.
Background
Scott represents corporate clients in commercial disputes, consumer protection cases, and
privacy litigation involving the telecommunications, media, and entertainment industries. He
has successfully defended cases around the country involving a wide range of federal and
state consumer protection acts, privacy laws, and unfair and deceptive trade practices acts.
Scott is also a leading authority on consumer arbitration and creating and implementing
efficient dispute resolution programs and strategies for large organizations.
Scott began his legal career at a leading California defense firm Haight Brown & Bonesteel,
LLP. He subsequently opened and managed a successful small law firm, and he worked as an
Attorney for AT&T before joining Seki Nishimura & Watase, LLP in 2019.
Scott earned his JD from Loyola Law School and his BA from the University of California –
Irvine. He also maintains an active real estate broker’s license.
