K.S. LeFan
Of Counsel
K.S. LeFan is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice in California courts and the United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Southern Districts of California. He graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Pepperdine University with a Master’s in Psychology, and received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern School of Law’s accelerated SCALE Program.
Background
Before joining SNW as Of Counsel, LeFan served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. Prior to that, he was the Principal at LeFan Law, PC, a boutique entertainment law firm and a Partner at Lowe & Associates, PC. Representative cases include Dr. Dre, Kurtis Blow, The Weeknd, Warren G, DJ Lethal, Apple, Inc., Facebook, Sony, Universal Music Group, Citibank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Carmen Trutanich, the estates of Tupac, Biggie Smalls, Juice WRLD, and Barry White. He was also a reserve Los Angeles Deputy City Attorney.
While at Southwestern’s accelerated JD program, LeFan participated in the Trial Advocacy Honors Program, where he studied under professors Bill Seki and Joseph Esposito. He is a past Chairman of the Business Law Section at the Beverly Hills Bar Association and has served as a delegate to the Conference of California Bar Associations. Before practicing law, he worked with the Awassa Children’s Project and the UNHCR in Ethiopia.
