Adrian Gragas
Of Counsel
Adrian Gragas is a member of the California State Bar and admitted to practice in all California Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He attended Western State College of Law in Orange County. As an experienced trial attorney with a diverse civil litigation practice, he is adept in representing government entities, corporations, and other clients in complex and high-exposure general liability cases.
Background
Adrian was with the Office of the Los Angeles County Counsel for 28 years and retired as the Division Chief of the General Litigation Division in 2023. During his career with County Counsel, he was a trial attorney in the Dependency Division, Law Enforcement Division, and General Litigation Division handling cases with high exposure; wrongful death; catastrophic injuries; and defending the Sheriff’s Department in civil rights cases. In 2010, he was awarded the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. Attorney of the Year for his outstanding trial work. After retiring in 2023, he continue to conduct jury trials for national defense insurance firms.
Practice areas
In the past year, he has continued to try jury trials in multi-million dollar personal injury cases resulting in defense verdicts and outstanding results. He is looking forward to mentoring and sharing his trial experience and knowledge with SW attorneys in the next phase of his legal career.
