Prior to joining Seki, Nishimura & Watase LLP, Mr. Hiura was a partner with two highly acclaimed national defense firms where he represented and defended individuals, corporations, public and nonprofit entities at trial in matters involving personal injury, breach of contract, habitability, landlord/tenant disputes, automobile accidents, premises liability, government tort liability, sexual assault, and sexual molestation.

Mr. Hiura continues to represent individuals, corporations and public entities, including the County of Los Angeles, on a myriad of general liability cases. Mr. Hiura has extensive trial experience in State court.

Aside from his active legal case work, Mr. Hiura serves as a Board Member of Elizabeth House, a nonprofit organization which provides assistance and support for pregnant and traumatized women experiencing homelessness. He is also a Board Member of Compton Metro Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit Christian organization for youth and adult residents in the Compton community.
