Michael began his legal career as a clerk at the Charlottesville City’s attorneys office where he assisted in advising the city on issues regarding freedom of speech issues. During law school, Michael was selected to the University of Virginia Jessup International Moot Court team where he assisted the team to make it through regional rounds and compete in the international rounds with other moot court teams from universities and law schools from around the world.

His practice focuses on public entity defense litigation on claims involving premise liability, personal injury, and civil rights violation, as well as matters involving general civil litigation. Additionally, he has assisted on real-estate transactional matters including contract drafting and complex state and federal compliance issues.
