Heidi Yoshioka,

Heidi Yoshioka is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before all California Courts. Mrs. Yoshioka received  her B.A. at Loyola Marymount University and  her J.D. at Southwestern Law School.

Background

Heidi Yoshioka is an accomplished trial attorney who focuses her practice on complex and high-exposure product liability, premises liability and general liability matters. For more than 25 years she has represented national and international clients in the automotive, vertical transportation, heavy machinery, highway transportation, food product, and hospitality industries. Heidi currently defends the world’s largest communications company in matters of general liability and premises liability.

Heidi works in collaboration with her clients to serve their business and strategic objectives. Her professional mission is to provide value-based legal services. To this end, Heidi’s case management practices are specifically tailored to meet her clients’ needs.

Heidi has successfully tried to verdict multi-plaintiff automobile, vertical transportation and premises liability cases. Additionally, she has extensive motion practice experience and has successfully authored and argued motions for summary judgment. She is also experienced deposing experts, parties, and third party witnesses and defending clients during depositions.

Heidi Yoshioka’s professional associations include the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the Japanese American Bar Association, and the Asian Pacific American Women Lawyers Alliance, Los Angeles.

She also served at Southwestern College from 2013 to 2017 in several positions as an Associate Adjunct Professor, a member of the Board of Directors, the President of the Alumni Board of Directors, and a member of the Board of Trustees, and Search Committee.

Heidi also served as the Program Chair for the Inn of Courts Litigation Section. and as a member of the Board of Directors for Miranda’s People, Non-profit for Canine Cancer.
